A Nigerian priest known for fiery sermons, Apostle Johnson Suleiman, has asked members of his congregation to go after and kill Fulani herdsmen if they waylay him or show up within the premises of his church.
Apostle Suleiman made the controversial speech during his Sunday sermon last week in the presence of thousands of his church members, some cheered him while other squirmed at the suggestion, but the pastor continued undeterred after claiming that he got a call from someone that Fulani herdsmen had been sent to assassinate him.
Apostle Suleiman is a sworn enemy of Kaduna state governor, Nasir El-Rufai. Last year he gave a prophesy that El Rufai would die in office.
